About Zig Zags

Zig Zags was created in 2006 when multi-talented seamstress Sharon spotted a gap in the market for material repair and alteration services that stretched beyond the public facing service that is commonplace in most shopping precincts.

Building on skills acquired through years of working in the trade, Sharon adopted the systems deployed to make clothing alterations a more efficient commercial offering and by investing in specialist, task-specific, trade equipment. This enabled the newly-formed company to offer a range of highly specialised services to the commercial and trade sector, as well as offering a fast turnaround service to the public.

The company further expanded its capabilities when Paul Barrett joined the firm. Paul brought a new set of skills to the fore enabling a wider range of complex tasks to be undertaken, from large marquee repairs to larger commercial projects such as rescue boat covers, industrial door transit points and wind turbine rig equipment. As well as joining Zig Zags, Paul joined with Sharon in marriage-really cementing a winning partnership!

The service is not limited to local clientele either! As the company reputation grew nationwide, demand for the service grew to such an extent that the company joined forces with Parcel2Go to offer a free post-repair delivery service* to their clients who choose to uses Parcel2Go to send in their articles for repair. Our support team can help you every step of the way if you have any queries.
